"Since switching my insurance to this office from another StateFarm office, both my auto and home insurance have skyrocketed at renewal. Most recently, my home insurance went up by 24% though the inflation index on the policy only went up 3%. I called the office to ask why and the representative repeatedly said it went up due to inflation (3%), coverage changes (no changes), and discount changes (no changes - loyalty/auto bonus). We both knew what she was saying was not true, and this was very clear. She would not let me talk to anyone else or give an honest or exact reason for the price hike. I do not appreciate being lied to. The office also canceled my renter's policy while it was still active and without notice. This was when I was first moving into my house and still needed the renter's policy. It led to months of headache to get it resolved. They did eventually fix that issue though, but they would not respond in writing and attempted to avoid all responsibility throughout the process. Edit: Nothing in the reply to this review from the business is true. I called on the afternoon of 11/27/2024, the day before Thanksgiving. The business did not reach out during the holidays, because most businesses are closed. There have been no returned calls, emails, mail, etc. from StateFarm. Nothing in the reply to this review was discussed. The repair/replaced covered liability did not increase. The reply proves that even their management is dishonest and not just a one off experience. I honestly expected better of StateFarm."

"Hello Miles, I would like to address your review in person, but my frequent attempts to reach out have been unsuccessful. During our previous conversation, we explained that transferring offices will not allow you to reduce your rate. Everyone is currently experiencing a rate cycle, and insurance companies are not immune to repair related costs increasing. My office has notes regarding speaking with you about rectifying the errors on your account. However, we are unable to set rate prices. We strive to offer the most competitive rate possible. If you would like to discuss this further, please respond to my emails. We can schedule an appointment to review the best rate available for you."
